What began as the International Adoption Clinic 23 years ago at UAB/Children's Hospital has grown into a beacon of hope for children and families.
On November 6th, we celebrated our first year as an independent nonprofit milestone with our first signature event "VWoven Together," an International Dinner and uaciton , honoring the families we serve and the generous community that makes our mission possible. Together, we celebrated a beautiful tapestry of cultures, stories, and backgrounds—all woven together by one shared purpose: helping families heal and thrive.
But Woven Together doesn’t begin or end with one night.
It is an ongoing invitation to link arms, lift burdens, and make care accessible for every adoptive, foster, and kinship family who walks through our doors.
Woven Together is more than an event—it’s a movement of hope.
A collective commitment to bridge the gap in the cost of care, to ensure trauma-informed support remains within reach, and to stand with families as they navigate the hardest parts of their stories.
Every gift. Every prayer. Every act of generosity.
Every thread counts in strengthening the fabric of healing and belonging.
Join us in weaving a future where every child and every family has what they need to flourish.
