The John Booth Hardship Fund has been established by Revive Counselling and Wellbeing CIC in memory of John Booth, whose life was dedicated to serving others with compassion, kindness, and integrity.
John was a dedicated Councillor, a former Mayor of Broxtowe Borough Council, a former Leader of the Council, an Honorary Alderman of Broxtowe Borough Council, a trustee of several local charities, a Church Warden, and a passionate advocate for people in his community. Throughout his life, he worked tirelessly to support those in need, leaving a lasting legacy of service and care.
In keeping with John's values, this hardship fund has been created to ensure that financial circumstances are never a barrier to accessing professional counselling.
All donations to the John Booth Hardship Fund are ring-fenced and used exclusively to provide counselling for children, young people, and adults who are unable to afford therapy. Every pound donated goes directly towards helping individuals access the support they need to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
By donating to this fund, you are helping to continue John's legacy of compassion, ensuring that people experiencing difficult times can receive the care, hope, and support they deserve.
Thank you for helping us honour John's memory by making counselling accessible to those who need it most.
