Rohingya Refugee Support
Refugee families, who live in harsh and unsanitary conditions in makeshift camps, are in urgent need of life-saving food, water, shelter, healthcare, and other support. In addition to meeting some of these needs, along with our partners in South Asia, we helped prevent outbreaks of waterborne diseases by expanding safe water and sanitation services, improved hygiene systems, and distributed supplementary nutritional food in the form of Horlicks (malted hot drink) and full cream milk twice a year among refugee mothers and children. The project helps prevent malnutrition and chronic illnesses among children and nursing mothers.!
