If you know her as "Ms. Nancy," you could be a person getting food, clothing, or moral support at the weekly food distribution at Still Waters Cafe and Pantry at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church where she formerly worked and was the director over the past 9 years.

If you just know her as Nancy, you could have met her anywhere in Simi Valley where she has lived for the past 34 years and sometimes she feels like she has met almost everyone of you!

Nancy has a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from CSULA, CA state teaching credential, an Early Childhood teaching credential and the Bilingual Certificate of Competency from LAUSD. She has received the Lew Roth Award for excellence in Management in SVUSD, received the Hindu Educators Award twice and been honored by the SV PTA with the Golden Acorn Award.

Nancy has had extensive training and experience in conflict resolution, problem solving, bringing diverse populations together and the management and safety of large numbers of children and adults. She is CERT trained in emergency procedures. Her expertise is in how people learn and communicate. She is fluent in two languages and has worked in communities in Simi Valley, Los Angeles, Pacoima, and as far away as Kenya, East Africa.

Nancy and her husband Dan, an AYSO board member for 25 years, live in Wood Ranch. They have raised two children in Simi Valley who are now thriving adults on their own.
