The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation will open the doors of the historic house, once again, at TRF Sanctuary Farm at Chestnut Hall this December with a Holiday Designer Show House to benefit the organization’s herd of nearly 450 retired racehorses.
Guests will tour both floors of the historic farmhouse which will be grandly adorned inside and out with seasonal decor in rooms designed by Cherry House Galleries, KP Design, Hound & Hare LLC, Jason Jennings Interior, Debhelin Designs, Living Spaces, Little Mount Lavender Company, Mandeline Hetzel Interiors, Libby H Design Studio, Harkman Interiors and All Lit Up by Zeppa's. This year, we are thrilled to have Julia Carstanjen, our benefactor, style a room featuring her favorite designers and holiday gift ideas. The tour will conclude in the rustic but beautiful horse barn.
The event will run from Friday, December 2nd through December 10th and the house will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily. This year’s event has been expanded to include the entire farmhouse and the barn. Tickets are $25 in advance or for $30 at the door.
Kicking off the nine-day event, will be a Preview Night Party on Thursday, December 1, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy cocktails, heavy hors d'oeuvres, seasonal entertainment, an exclusive tour of the historic farm house and an opportunity to meet some of our designers. Tickets for the Preview event are $75.
