Donate to support our sight-saving programs.
Your donation to the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington supports our work dedicated to the improvement and preservation of sight by providing services, education, advocacy and innovation.
We invite you to donate at a level that is meaningful to you. With your help, we are providing vital sight-saving programs in the area.
* Eyeglasses for the Needy: Supports the Eyeglasses Clinic, helping provide thousands of homeless and low-income persons in the metropolitan area with new glasses or repairs broken ones.
* Children's Vision Screening: Supports screenings for more than 8,000 local children age 3 to 18 each year. Screening at a young age can result in early detection and treatment that could prevent or slow vision loss.
* Aging Eye and Macular Degeneration Networks: Supports free local share and support groups, physician and expert lectures, and a free large-print monthly newsletter for those affected by vision loss.
